About MiracleCoatings
RKEM, Inc. was established in 1996. Its first official act was to purchase the assets of Miracle Coatings, a San Diego-based company that developed and marketed Silk ‘n Splendor®, a wonderful and safe consumer retail product for cleaning silk/artificial foliage.
Silk ‘n Splendor is the flagship product of the company. It can be found in leading floral and craft retailers and wholesalers here in the U.S. and internationally. More than just a cleaner, Silk ‘n Splendor is a treatment that cleans, beautifies and protects silk foliage.
Through the years we have introduced other cleaners, silk floral mounting systems, products for Christmas florals and related floral accessories. All these products can be found on our Products Pages.
The mission of the company is to market consumer retail products that maintain and enhance silk florals. Every effort and result is based on products that work, are attractively packaged, represent value and come with effective company service. We have had solid results: Silk ‘n Splendor, QuickWater™ Simulated Water, Colorfill® Vase Filler and our Silica Gel are industry leaders.
One of the strengths of our company is our supplier network. From our component suppliers and packagers to our advertising agency (Estey-Hoover: Estey-Hoover.com) and our package designer (BrightWater Design: Design@BrightH2O.com), we have a great team !
